EXHIBITION “ONLY NOW EXISTS”

Only now exists – it is exactly what it is. Elita has created an art space as a dedication to each and every one of us. A work of art that makes you look around, feel the energy, time and the moment that is constantly changing. Visitors of the exhibition can literally enter the world created by Elita, see themselves from several sides as part of the exhibition, be reintroduced with different aspects of their personality. Entering the colourful vortex of life, travelling to the center of it, can lead us to see exactly what is important to each of us at this moment. Surviving, feeling, being grateful for what we have.

In her direction to art, Elita “blames” her parents. Her father knew how to appreciate beauty, and her mother was an excellent seamstress. When Elita graduated from the technical school in Riga, she started working as a modeler in the famous “Rīgas Modes”, then joined the Fashion Design Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts. Elita Patmalniece is a painter who says: “It is a great happiness to think – that you don’t have to torment too much – just do it. Happiness is found in everyday. ” Elita is also a fashion designer who creates costumes for performing artists, theater and opera performances, she has participated in various projects on TV, advertising, newspapers and magazines.
